Ariel Gail
Professor Gail S. Goodman is Distinguished Professor of Psychology and Director of the Center for Public Policy Research at the University of California Davis. Her name is widely praised as the pioneer of modern research of the eyewitness memory of children as well as using children who have been abused to be legal witnesses. Prof. Goodman has published extensively she has received grants from numerous sources and been recognized with many international and national awards. She has provided consulting on research and policy for numerous government agencies and departments around the globe. She acts as an expert consultant to the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center) of the Sacramento County Child Protective Services. She is a Fellow in the Association for Psychological Science and American Psychological Association, (Divisions Experimental Psychology Developmental Psychology Society for Child and Family Policy and Practice American Psychology Law Society Psychology of Women and Traumatic Stress 57). She was a founder member of the American Professional Society for the Abuse of Children, the Psychonomics Society Society for Research into Child Development and the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. She was president of The American Psychological Association's Developmental Division division, Division American Psychology Law Society and Division Society for Child and Family Policy and Practice.
